Harris Group Services, Inc. (HGS) is seeking to fill positions of Senior Forensic Accountant – Project Manager for an independent agency of the Federal government, Regional Office located in Dallas, TX. 

 

The Senior Forensic Accountant is the Contractor's senior staff member responsible for planning andimplementing the work to be performed under a Task Order. The Senior Forensic Accountant also ensures compliance with the Agreement, including the quality andsufficiency of all deliverables. 

 

The following is a description of minimum requirements for the Senior Forensic Accountant – Project Manager position.

 

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • The areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, Contractor Personnel re-training, assignment and scheduling of duties of Contractor Personnel, monitoring progress and performance, development and administration of policies and procedures, timely completion of all functional area deliverables.

 

  • In addition to the specific duties of the administrative duties of the Senior Forensic Accountant position, the Senior Forensic accountant must be qualified to perform all of the duties of the Forensic Accountant.

 

  • The Senior Forensic Accountant shall also be responsible for developing information that can be analyzed and used by the Federal agency in the investigation of accountants' liability claims.

 

  • In terms of litigation support, the Senior Forensic Accountant must be able to identify and collect relevant information from the bank's files for submission to the Federal agency Investigator—in-Charge (Technical Monitor).

 

 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Four (4) years business, accounting degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

 

  • Eight (8) years’ experience in financial institution auditing and accounting, financial regulatory experience, or direct liability claims development.

 

  • Two (2) years managerial/supervisory experience in the financial accounting or financial investigations.

 

  • Progressively responsible experience in financial investigations.

 

  • Skilled in professional writing and oral communication.

 

  • Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures.

 

  • Ability to develop and conduct training programs relevant to Task Order assignments.

 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access for the purpose of developing complex reports and spreadsheet analyses.
